Matt Hodgson

I have been an Al fan since 1996, and have always been interested in Al tribute songs.  I've been playing the accordion since 1997 and making my own song parodies.  I have a goal to have more/the best "Weird Al" tribute songs than anyone else!

Below is some general info about me.

1) I'm 21 years old. 

2) I've met Al 3 times

3) My favorite Color is green

4) I've been playing the accordion since 1997

5) My favorite show is the Simpsons

6) My favorite decade is the '80s

7) I'm engaged to Rachel

8) I wear size 10.5 in converse.

9) I collect Pez Dispensers.  I have over 90!

10) My favorite singer is "Weird Al" Yankovic (of course)

11) My favorite actor is Matthew Perry

12) I'm 6 feet tall

13) I'm currently vegetarian

14) No piercing or tattoos, although Rachel has a Hanson symbol tattoo - it's pretty cool

15) I have never used or tried drugs, and I never will.

16) I do have one older brother (David), he doesn't live with me though. He lives with

       my grand parents.

17) My favorite movies are Back to the Future and the Breakfast Club (I like BTTF just

       barely a teeny bit more than BC)

18) My favorite member of Al's band (besides Al) is Jon "Bermuda" - although I do like

       Jim, Steve, and Ruben too :)

19) My favorite song is Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds

20) I'm really into parody movies like Repossessed, Spy Hard, Space Balls, and

       many more

21) I'm also really into satire and play on words movies like Airplane, Naked Gun, and

       stuff like that

22) Don't forget Star Wars - Yes, Star Wars is awesome (episodes 4, 5, and 6 anyways).

23) I'm trying to make it to 27

24) I work in the healtchare field

25) I drive a 1983 Crysler Lebaron.

26) I weigh 231 pounds. 

27) Yeah, I made it 27!  People who inspire my are "Weird Al", Andy Kaufman, Matthew

       Perry, Dr. Demento, Jim Carrey, Saturday Night Live cast members, Homer

       Simpson, and people like that. Oh, Mel Brooks, and Leslie Neilson of course.

This is a pic of Me Jan. 2004 

Me with "Weird Al" on April 1st 2004.  I gave him a CD of my tributes from this site.  He remembered me!  He thanked me for the CD.  It was soooo cooool to meet Al again (3rd time).  Last time I told him my story and this time I got a great picture with him.  Thanks Al! 

Weird Al" and me after the Fort Wayne concert in Indiana , August 26th 2003 (1 of 3).  I'm getting a pose while he's looking at my girlfriend's Hanson MOE magazine.  He said he has never seen it before...my girlfriend was happy to show him something he's never seen (there's a page that shows him directing Hanson's River Video). 

Another pic of Al and me (2 of 3).  I'm telling him about how big of a fan I am.  I also told him I'm on his second tribute Album, he asked me what song and I said "Biggest Fan".  I gave him a copy of my CD along with a letter - he said that he would listen to it and read the letter.  I am thrilled that he said that!
